Huckleberry, our 3 year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a mainstay at the office. He shows up ready each day to to work with a happy-care free attitude, friendly disposition, and all the nose boops and face licks you could want. More importantly than that, he allows the staff to feel like a family. As research studies have shown, dogs reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace. Dogs also encourage a healthier lifestyle, lunch time de-stressing walks are easier with a companion.

You may be inclined to believe that dogs would be distracting and account for a loss of productivity, but we believe that having our employees morale high accounts for better work at the end of the day. We feel our office is a friendlier and more inviting environment with Huck around. Short breaks in the day to play ball, give him some treats and even a few cuddles are welcome interludes to the stress of work.

The other unseen benefit is the socialization that he gets during the day instead of being left home alone. What better life could a dog ask for than to be roaming around looking for friends to play with, or sleeping (upside down, as is his nature) in his bed in the sun.
